Panchatantra Telugu - chettu sakshyam

08:09
About Panchatantra The original text of the Panchatantra in Sanskrit was probably written about 200 B.C. by a great Hindu scholar, Pandit Vishnu Sharma. But some of the tales themselves must be much older, their origin going back to the period of the Rig-Veda and Upanishads (from 1500 B.C. to 500 B.C.). According to some scholars of the Indo-European languages, the Panchatantra is the oldest collection of Indian fables surviving. It consists of five books, which are called: Mitra Bhedha (The Loss of Friends) Mitra Laabha, also called Mitra Samprāpti (Gaining Friends) Kākolūkīyam (Crows and Owls) Labdhapraṇāśam (Loss Of Gains) Aparīkṣitakārakaṃ (Ill-Considered Action / Rash deeds) This story about 2 friends is taken from the first book. The narration is done in telugu. For more videos in this series, please logon to http://www.edewcate.com

Edewcate english rhymes - There was an old lady who swallowed a fly

02:26
An excellent nursery rhyme for kids to increase memory retention and understand relative sizes. There was an old lady who swallowed a fly I don't know why she swallowed a fly - perhaps she'll die! There was an old lady who swallowed a spider, That wriggled and wiggled and tiggled inside her; She swallowed the spider to catch the fly; I don't know why she swallowed a fly - Perhaps she'll die! There was an old lady who swallowed a bird; How absurd to swallow a bird. She swallowed the bird to catch the spider, She swallowed the spider to catch the fly; I don't know why she swallowed a fly - Perhaps she'll die! There was an old lady who swallowed a cat; Fancy that to swallow a cat! She swallowed the cat to catch the bird, She swallowed the bird to catch the spider, She swallowed the spider to catch the fly; I don't know why she swallowed a fly - Perhaps she'll die! There was an old lady that swallowed a dog; What a hog, to swallow a dog; She swallowed the dog to catch the cat, She swallowed the cat to catch the bird, She swallowed the bird to catch the spider, She swallowed the spider to catch the fly; I don't know why she swallowed a fly - Perhaps she'll die! There was an old lady who swallowed a cow, I don't know how she swallowed a cow; She swallowed the cow to catch the dog, She swallowed the dog to catch the cat, She swallowed the cat to catch the bird, She swallowed the bird to catch the spider, She swallowed the spider to catch the fly; I don't know why she swallowed a fly - Perhaps she'll die! There was an old lady who swallowed a horse... She's dead, of course!

Edewcate english rhymes | Hush little baby

01:26
The most popular lullaby song of all time. A must for all parenting lessons. Hush, little baby, don't say a word, Mama's gonna buy you a mockingbird. If that mockingbird don't sing, Mama's gonna buy you a diamond ring. If that diamond ring turns brass, Mama's gonna buy you a looking glass. If that looking glass gets broke, Mama's gonna buy you a billy goat. If that billy goat won't pull, Mama's gonna buy you a cart and bull. If that cart and bull turn over, Mama's gonna buy you a dog named Rover. If that dog named Rover won't bark. Mama's gonna buy you a horse and cart. If that horse and cart fall down, You'll still be the sweetest little baby in town. So hush little baby don't you cry, 'Cause Daddy loves you and so do I. There is another version to be sung by the father Hush, little baby, don't say a word. Papa's gonna buy you a mockingbird And if that mockingbird won't sing, Papa's gonna buy you a diamond ring And if that diamond ring turns brass, Papa's gonna buy you a looking glass And if that looking glass gets broke, Papa's gonna buy you a billy goat And if that billy goat won't pull, Papa's gonna buy you a cart and bull And if that cart and bull turn over Papa's gonna buy you a dog named rover If that dog named rover wont bark Papa's gonna buy you a horse and cart If that horse and cart fall down You'll still be the sweetest little baby in town

Edewcate english rhymes - Oh my darling clementine

02:16
Animated children's song based on a song "Down by the river liv'd a maiden". In a cavern, in a canyon, Excavating for a mine Dwelt a miner forty niner, And his daughter Clementine Chorus: Oh my darling, oh my darling, Oh my darling, Clementine! Thou art lost and gone forever Dreadful sorry, Clementine Light she was and like a fairy, And her shoes were number nine, Herring boxes, without topses, Sandals were for Clementine. --Chorus. Drove she ducklings to the water Ev'ry morning just at nine, Hit her foot against a splinter, Fell into the foaming brine. -- Chorus Ruby lips above the water, Blowing bubbles, soft and fine, But, alas, I was no swimmer, So I lost my Clementine. -- Chorus How I missed her! How I missed her, How I missed my Clementine, But I kissed her little sister, I forgot my Clementine. -- Chorus

Edewcate english rhymes - My Grandfather's clock

01:08
My grandfather's clock Was too large for the shelf, So it stood ninety years on the floor; It was taller by half Than the old man himself, Though it weighed not a pennyweight more. It was bought on the morn Of the day that he was born, It was always his treasure and pride; But it stopped short Never to go again, When the old man died. Ninety years without slumbering, Tick, tock, tick, tock, His life seconds numbering, Tick, tock, tick, tock, It stopped short Never to go again, When the old man died. In watching its pendulum Swing to and fro, Many hours had he spent while a boy; And in childhood and manhood The clock seemed to know, And share both his grief and his joy. And it struck twenty-four When he entered at the door, With a blooming and beautiful bride; But it stopped short Never to go again, When the old man died. Ninety years without slumbering, Tick, tock, tick, tock, His life seconds numbering, Tick, tock, tick, tock, It stopped short Never to go again, When the old man died. Ninety years without slumbering, Tick, tock, tick, tock, His life seconds numbering, Tick, tock, tick, tock, It stopped short Never to go again, When the old man died. My grandfather said That of those he could hire, Not a servant so faithful he found; For it wasted no time, And had but one desire, At the close of each week to be wound. And it kept in its place, Not a frown upon its face, And its hand never hung by its side. But it stopped short Never to go again, When the old man died. Ninety years without slumbering, Tick, tock, tick, tock, His life seconds numbering, Tick, tock, tick, tock, It stopped short Never to go again, When the old man died. It rang an alarm In the dead of the night, An alarm that for years had been dumb; And we knew that his spirit Was pluming his flight, That his hour of departure had come. Still the clock kept the time, With a soft and muffled chime, As we silently stood by his side. But it stopped short Never to go again, When the old man died. Ninety years without slumbering, Tick, tock, tick, tock, His life seconds numbering, Tick, tock, tick, tock, It stopped short Never to go again, When the old man died.

Bow-wow, says the dog; Mew-mew, says the cat; Grunt, grunt, goes the hog; And squeak, goes the rat. Chirp, chirp, says the sparrow; Caw, caw, says the crow; Quack, quack, says the duck; And what cuckoos say, you know. So, with sparrows and cuckoos, With rats and with dogs, With ducks and with crows, With cats and with hogs, A fine song I have made, To please you, my dear; And if it's well sung, 'T will be charming to hear

Don't you hear the captain shouting "Dinah, blow your horn?" Dinah, won't you blow, Dinah, won't you blow, Dinah, won't you blow your horn? Dinah, won't you blow, Dinah, won't you blow, Dinah, won't you blow your horn? Someone's in the kitchen with Dinah. Someone's in the kitchen, I know. Someone's in the kitchen with Dinah Strumming on the old banjo. Fee, fie, fiddle-e-i-o. Fee, fie, fiddle-e-i-o-o-o-o. Fee, fie, fiddle-e-i-o. Strumming on the old banjo.
