ENON -- Controversy in Enon over a family burial site, dating back to the 1800's. And two men buried there are war veterans dating all the way back to the Revolutionary War. "There's no doubt who we think is buried here is buried here," said Russell Oost, family buried at the site. Oost knows for a fact his ancestors dating all the way back to 1797 are buried in this ground. "Reuban Winget, which is one of the first people to settle this area back in 1797 built a house in 1800 on this very land," said Oost. It was once they found Reuban Winget's headstone that Russell knew his family history was right beneath his feet. "To me this is hallowed land this is my family that we've looked forever for," he said, "And now look what's happened to it." Right now, Oost and his family are in a dispute with the developer, Hillside Creek Farms, who owns the property. "This is basically all that's left right now, there was a lot more when this all started," said Oost. The developer started removing some of the headstones when they started plowing over the dirt. "That's definite recent damage when they scraped it off." said Oost. The developer says he has rights to the land, he bought it and owns it, and the previous owner had already farmed and plowed this land. "I say pish posh," he said, "They've known for years that this cemetery has been here." But the real concern for Oost and his family is that the graves they're disturbing are men in uniform. One who fought in the Revolutionary War and another who fought in the War of 1812. "These are people that firmly believed in the idea of America and keeping it safe, how can you disrespect people that fought for that kind of thing?" he said. The developer is still planning to use the land for farming, but says he's hoping to reach an agreement with the family.

- HISTORIA DE LOS CRISTIANOS DESDE JESUCRISTO A CONSTANTINO- Documental De Jesucristo a Constantino 1- El nacimiento https://openload.co/f/0O8LXXlalO8 Documental De Jesucristo a Constantino 2- El gran misionero https://openload.co/f/OKJb4Pr1124 Documental De Jesucristo a Constantino 3- La era de los apóstoles https://openload.co/f/1nlcSla-NSw Documental De Jesucristo a Constantino 4- Del apocalipsis https://openload.co/f/FOG_UgB3XCA Documental De Jesucristo a Constantino 5- Paganos y el culto https://openload.co/f/kY-wbjGWN5M Documental De Jesucristo a Constantino 6- Constantino https://openload.co/f/pl0FhWBg1gA Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. The patriarchs Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Moses. These are some of the best known characters of the Old Testament. But are they your real stories, or mere myths? In this program we go into science while archeologists scrutinize the Bible to separate fiction and reality and find out if it is true that Moses was truly the author of the Hebrew Bible. Is there evidence to support the exodus of the chosen people from Egypt or was it a small group of Canaanites who simply decided to free themselves? To find out, we will uncover ancient artifacts that help date biblical events and see what archaeologists say may have been the walls that Joshua knocked down. Several years ago, one of the most important monuments in history was found. It is the so-called Stele of Merenptah (also called Stele of Victory or Stele of Israel), made in honor of Pharaoh Merenptah, son of Ramses the Great. The stone has achieved great notoriety because the engraved text includes the first mention known to Israel (or the Israelites), in the penultimate line, within the list of towns defeated by Merenptah. Today it is located in the Cairo Museum. Together with the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP), The Swedish Institute of International Affairs held a seminar on the issue of people who go missing involuntarily as a result of conflict, human rights abuses, disasters, and irregular migration, among other circumstances. Speakers included survivors of missing persons and those who work with survivors. The conference explored ways in which family members can secure their rights to truth, justice and reparations. The forum included speakers from Syria, and the Ezidi population in Northern Iraq, as well as a survivor of the 1995 genocide in Srebrenica and a family member who lost a loved one in the 2004 Southeast Asian Tsunami. ICMP Commissioners, including Swedish diplomat Rolf Ekéus, Her Majesty Queen Noor, former Thai Foreign Minister Surin Pitsuwan, and International Criminal Court Judge Monageng spoke at the event, as well as Dr. Jan Ilhan Kizilhan, an Ezidi psychiatrist working with trauma victims in Germany. Survivors spoke about their own experiences, including the need to work together with others in the same or similar situation. They also discussed the main elements of an effective international response to this issue. Of the 90,194 inhabitants of the city (as of 2011), about 12,000 live in the ancient town centre enclosed by its medieval ramparts. Between 1309 and 1377, during the Avignon Papacy, seven successive popes resided in Avignon and in 1348 Pope Clement VI bought the town from Joanna I of Naples. Papal control persisted until 1791 when, during the French Revolution, it became part of France. The town is now the capital of the Vaucluse department and one of the few French cities to have preserved its ramparts. The historic centre, which includes the Palais des Papes, the cathedral, and the Pont d'Avignon, became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995. The medieval monuments and the annual Festival d'Avignon have helped to make the town a major centre for tourism.

The radio show Calling All Cars hired LAPD radio dispacher Jesse Rosenquist to be the voice of the dispatcher. Rosenquist was already famous because home radios could tune into early police radio frequencies. As the first police radio dispatcher presented to the public ear, his was the voice that actors went to when called upon for a radio dispatcher role. The iconic television series Dragnet, with LAPD Detective Joe Friday as the primary character, was the first major media representation of the department. Real LAPD operations inspired Jack Webb to create the series and close cooperation with department officers let him make it as realistic as possible, including authentic police equipment and sound recording on-site at the police station. Due to Dragnet's popularity, LAPD Chief Parker "became, after J. Edgar Hoover, the most well known and respected law enforcement official in the nation". In the 1960s, when the LAPD under Chief Thomas Reddin expanded its community relations division and began efforts to reach out to the African-American community, Dragnet followed suit with more emphasis on internal affairs and community policing than solving crimes, the show's previous mainstay. Several prominent representations of the LAPD and its officers in television and film include Adam-12, Blue Streak, Blue Thunder, Boomtown, The Closer, Colors, Crash, Columbo, Dark Blue, Die Hard, End of Watch, Heat, Hollywood Homicide, Hunter, Internal Affairs, Jackie Brown, L.A. Confidential, Lakeview Terrace, Law & Order: Los Angeles, Life, Numb3rs, The Shield, Southland, Speed, Street Kings, SWAT, Training Day and the Lethal Weapon, Rush Hour and Terminator film series. The LAPD is also featured in the video games Midnight Club II, Midnight Club: Los Angeles, L.A. Noire and Call of Juarez: The Cartel. The LAPD has also been the subject of numerous novels. Elizabeth Linington used the department as her backdrop in three different series written under three different names, perhaps the most popular being those novel featuring Det. Lt. Luis Mendoza, who was introduced in the Edgar-nominated Case Pending. Joseph Wambaugh, the son of a Pittsburgh policeman, spent fourteen years in the department, using his background to write novels with authentic fictional depictions of life in the LAPD. Wambaugh also created the Emmy-winning TV anthology series Police Story. Wambaugh was also a major influence on James Ellroy, who wrote several novels about the Department set during the 1940s and 1950s, the most famous of which are probably The Black Dahlia, fictionalizing the LAPD's most famous "cold case", and L.A. Confidential, which was made into a film of the same name. Both the novel and the film chronicled mass-murder and corruption inside and outside the force during the Parker era. Critic Roger Ebert indicates that the film's characters (from the 1950s) "represent the choices ahead for the LAPD": assisting Hollywood limelight, aggressive policing with relaxed ethics, and a "straight arrow" approach. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LAPD

George Bent, the Sidney Gause Childress Professor of Art, presents the first session from the Alumni College's "The Eternal City: Rome through the Centuries." With some 28 centuries of recorded history, Rome is one of Europe's oldest continuously inhabited cities. But what makes Rome venerable is not so much its age but what the Eternal City has witnessed through the centuries.
